For New Residents

Welcome to Evergreen!

We are all so pleased that you have chosen to live in Evergreen. It’s a beautiful neighborhood with a lot of great people and fun events throughout the year.

Our annual meeting is held in February. This is a great time to get together with your neighbors and help make the decisions that make Evergreen such a great place to live. There is also a beautiful bi-annual, full color newsletter that helps to spread news throughout the year. Contributions are always welcome, so if you have an area of expertise that you think would benefit our neighborhood, please consider writing an article.

We have an annual neighborhood picnic complete with food, music, jumpers for the kids, and games for all ages and usually a visit from the Woodbury Police and Fire Departments. Please plan on attending this fun event and meeting your neighbors.

Please take some time to look at our website. It is full of important information including our covenants and bylaws (be sure to read through these!), frequently asked questions regarding such things as fences and mailboxes, and back issues of our newsletter as well as many other topics.

To keep our neighborhood beautiful, we do require annual payment of dues. Currently, our dues are $85 for the year. The fence along Radio Drive is our latest accomplishment, and without the support of our neighbors it would not have been possible. Other items covered by the dues include maintenance, landscaping and lighting of our monument, mailing costs, and holiday lights that run through the trees along Pinehurst Road at Radio Drive.

We also suggest the use of two respected trash haulers, Tennis Sanitation (651-459-1887) or Troje’s Trash Pickup (651-459-8223.) Be sure to ask about the Evergreen discount when you call them.

We are always welcoming new volunteers to our many committees. If you have expertise or interest and would like to get involved, we have the following committees: architecture, civic, communications, maintenance, (board) nominating, safety, welcome, and social.

We are also always looking for neighbors who would like to serve on our volunteer board of directors. For more information, send an e-mail to

We hope you have many happy years with us in Evergreen. We’re so glad you are here.
